Legacy Society
The BMW Car Club of America (CCA) Foundation has introduced an exciting initiative known as the Legacy Society. This program is geared towards honoring and recognizing individuals who choose to include the Foundation in their planned giving arrangements. By doing so, these individuals ensure their passion for BMW and its community extends beyond their lifetime, contributing to the preservation and celebration of BMW heritage for future generations.
What is the Legacy Society?
The Legacy Society is a distinguished group of supporters who have made a commitment to the BMW CCA Foundation through planned gifts. These gifts can take various forms, offering flexibility to the donor while still ensuring significant support for the Foundation’s mission. The types of planned gifts that qualify include:
- Wills and Trusts: Donors can specify in their will or trust that a portion of their estate is to be left to the Foundation.
- Life Insurance Policies: By naming the BMW CCA Foundation as a beneficiary in a life insurance policy, individuals can provide substantial support.
- Other Planned Gifts: Donors may explore other methods such as retirement plan assets or charitable remainder trusts.

How to Join the Legacy Society
There are two ways to join the BMW CCA Foundation’s Legacy Society.
- Designate the Foundation as a beneficiary in your planned gift.
- Or make at least one Five Thousand Dollar ($5,000) gift during your lifetime.
Joining the Legacy Society is a meaningful decision that requires thoughtful planning. Interested individuals are encouraged to consult with their financial advisors or estate planners to determine the best way to include the BMW CCA Foundation in their plans.
