In the month of March, we were building The Power of M exhibition. For the Amelia Island Concours, BMW was going to allow automotive journalists to drive a fleet of current and past BMW M cars from Greer, SC to Amelia Island, FL over a two day period. BMW asked if they could launch the journalists in the cars from our Museum. To do this, it meant storing the cars in our building over night. Thankfully, we had not set up our display, so we could part the exhibition cars around the outer walls of the exhibition space and then fill in with BMW’s cars. We managed to pack in 46-47 cars with room to spare.
