The ALPINA: 60 Years of Excellence exhibition is the nineth major exhibition at The Ultimate Driving Museum. Beginning with vintage editions built in the early days when the company was working out of a backyard workshop in Kaufbeuren, Germany. During this time, ALPINA was developing a power enhancing multi-carburetor unit for the BMW 1500. The exhibit leads you from the beginning to the modern day ALPINAs produced on the same lines as BMW automobiles. The exhibit will include motorsport, unique special editions, and the owners of these exclusive masterpieces. The 25 cars on display represents milestones in engineering and design, highlighting the brand’s commitment to excellence and performance. Among the 25 cars will be the new XB7 currently in production at the BMW Plant Spartanburg, located in South Carolina across the street from The Ultimate Driving Museum. Most of the cars are very rare and limited in production numbers. Several have less than 100 ever made. The Ultimate Driving Museum will have 25 ALPINAs from 1969 to 2025. The exhibition will open on May 16, 2025, and run through January 17, 2026.
